Ingleburn Self Storage uses the StorerCheck database to assist in making informed decisions about potential and current storers. By applying for storage at Ingleburn Self Storage, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Database Search: Ingleburn Self Storage may search the StorerCheck database for any information that other Self Storage Association of Australasia (SSAA) members may have uploaded about you. If adverse information is found, Ingleburn Self Storage may refuse to offer you storage services or terminate your storage agreement.
  2. Information Release: Ingleburn Self Storage may upload your personal information to StorerCheck. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Your name
    • Your current and previous addresses
    • Your driver’s licence number and details
    • Your passport number (including non-Australian issued) and details
    • Your date of birth
  3. Information Access: Your details and personal information may be accessed by SSAA members in Australia and New Zealand if you:
    • Fail to pay for storage
    • Dump or abandon goods
    • Are chronically late with payments
    • Act abusively or threateningly towards staff or other storers
    • Involve the police, such as through the execution of search warrants against you, Ingleburn Self Storage, or your storage space
    • Breach any other term of the storage agreement
  4. Behavioral Information Use: Ingleburn Self Storage may use the information you provide during this application or information about your behavior at any other time to update the StorerCheck database.
  5. Data Retention: Your information will be stored on the StorerCheck database until it is no longer needed by us, SSAA, or another SSAA member, or for 5 years after you cease using services of a SSAA member, whichever is later.

By applying to store with Ingleburn Self Storage, you consent to the terms and conditions set out in this policy and online at www.storercheck.com.au, including Ingleburn Self Storage’s right to search for your details in the StorerCheck database and to release your information to the database under certain circumstances.
